Village Bowl (Aberdeen, SD) – This bowling alley has been family owned and operated ever since they first opened their doors back in 1960, which is most likely when this wonderful sign was first installed. You can tell from older photos found online that the entire building used to be this same blue color with yellow accents. Today the building is a more pedestrian brown color but has retained some of it’s original Googie charm by keeping the zig-zagged overhang above the front door.
