O.C. McDonald (San Jose, CA) – The O.C. McDonald Company, in business since 1906, has the distinction of installing the first ever air conditioning system in San Jose. This family business is currently owned by Jim McDonald, the 4th generation and great grandson of founder Oren Charles McDonald. This vintage sign has a somewhat unique color scheme (possibly changed during a past renovation) and features their tagline “Oh See!”, a homonym of the O.C. initials.
