Huey’s Saloon (Maplewood, MN) – Sometimes a wrong turn turns out to be very right. That was the case with this shot. I was on my way to shoot a sign I had passed a couple weeks prior. I miscalculated where I needed to turn and wound up about 3 miles past the sign I was looking for. But right when I reached a turnaround point, I looked up and this bad boy was staring me right in the face. I was on the other side of town in a suburban area that I am completely unfamiliar with, so I had no idea there were signs like this nearby. It was much cooler than the one I had originally set out to shoot.
