Great Bear Center (Bloomington, MN) – I cannot find any credible information about this sign aside from the fact the small strip mall it advertises was built in 1966. Seriously, nothing else… ARGGHH!!! When I was there shooting it, I walked around it for at least 15 minutes trying to spot the badge that all sign manufacturers affix to their work identifying them as the fabricator. Nothing. I scoured the internet for hours on end. Nothing. I got in touch with a friend who repairs a lot of the vintage neon in that area to see if he knew anything. Still Nothing. I even reached out to the company who was trying to lease some of the retail space in this shopping center… NOT A THING. Cool sign, though.
