Charleston Auto Parts (North Las Vegas, NV) – This family-owned business has served the Las Vegas area since Ivan & Helen Cannon first opened its doors in 1958. Amazingly the couple is still active in the business today (as of 2012, at least) but it’s their eldest son, Ron, who runs the day to day operations as company president. In fact, each of Ivan & Helen’s sons and daughters work for the company which has grown to include 14 locations across Nevada, Arizona, and Utah under the Carquest flag. As you can see from the photo, this sign is from their N. Main St. location in North Las Vegas, the first store they opened over a half-century ago.
