Beech-Hill Bar (St. Clairsville, OH) – Whatever Route 30 through Ohio lacks in vintage signs it makes up for with great storefronts & buildings. This is one example. During my post-trip research I came across a review of this place from a touring country band called Brent Amaker & The Rodeo. Here’s what they had to say… “Sometimes you run into a special place on your day off. This was the case when we found ourselves lost in Ohio due to a GPS mishap. Beech-Hill Bar is a true American dive that serves up beer from a can and hard liquor. It’s a place where the patrons welcome an impromptu set from a cowboy band that is just passing through. This is a place where regulars know how to have a good time and the ladies are not afraid to show you what they got. If you find yourself lost in Ohio, I recommend you stop in and meet some of the locals.”
